BrainProducts supports my work
It’s been a long time since my last message… Indeed, I got a summer break… and I am now ready for some more OpenViBE enhancements
One of the tasks I am working on currently is creating a Brainamp/Brainamp MR series driver using BrainProducts‘ low level API. The main advantages of such implementation as compared to the existing driver is to avoid the dependency to BrainVision recorder and get better timings and synchronization between OpenViBE and the hardware. The driver will support native functionalities of the amplifiers such as channel selection, low pass filter, dc coupling… I will try to push this driver for the next release. A later version of the driver will also support multi amplifiers in order to work with up to 256 channels !
I am doing this as an individual, on my spare time. As a counterpart, BrainProducts supports my work by providing me an amplifier !
Stay tuned to have news about this work…
Great news, I’m looking forward to this!
Keep it up.
Dear Jeremy,
the first step of the development has actually been integrated in the 0.8.0 release. It supports Brainamp Standard, Brainamp DC, Brainamp MR and Brainamp MR plus. I will update the driver before the January release to support multi-amplifiers.
